A renowned EPC is seeking an experienced performance Engineer to monitor the heat rate degradation and fuel intake of a combined cycle gas fired power plant.
The main responsibilities include overseeing the construction of GE grade steam turbines on the power project, reporting into the QC manager and construction manager.
Requirements
A degree in engineering
Fluent in spoken and written English to a high level.
3 years experience in a similar field.
Available to travel immediately.
Experience in Africa
Basic Responsibilities
An in-depth knowledge of the performance of combined cycle gas turbines.
Assessing and solving issues that would affect the effectiveness of the plant.
Ensuring that proper health and safety procedures are exercised at all times.
Communicating with the QC Manager about progression on site any areas for improvement.
Cooperating with the Owners Engineers on site to meet their standards.
